Formula 1's next domination period already confirmed?

According to 'es_motorsport' , the entire grid has unanimously agreed that the 2026 Mercedes engine is seen as the most powerful.

The consensus is that other manufacturers need to catch up.

Before being sacked, former Redbull team principle - Christian Horner - explained that it would be "embarrassing" is Redbull Ford powertrains had a better engine than Mercedes for the start of the new cycle of regulations in 2026.

Max Verstappen and Laurent Mekies held a meeting with key leaders of the progression of the engine project on the 12th of this month.

Audi have also openly said that they will be significantly behind developing their engine too per chief Matia Binotto, indicating a long term project which suggests they will not have a competitive engine for a long time.

At the moment, Mercedes lead they way.
