Bortoleto, Stroll, Colapinto, Ocon and Gasly were all at the bottom of the time sheets and knocked out. The star of Q2 was undeniably Bearman as he wrestled his Haas into Q3 while his teammate was down in P19. Leclerc found himself last after his first run but pulled it out of the bag and got through to Q3 aswell. Similarly Antonelli's first lap time was deleted and he also managed to get through too as the seconds ticked on. Hulkenburg just missed out on Q3 by 0.065 in P11, Albon, Sainz, Lawson who did good to get his foot in again after a horrible practice for him and Tsunoda out aswell. Singapore Grand Prix weekend preview

Image
The Singapore Grand Prix was first introduced to the F1 calendar in 2008 and was homed to the famous 'crashgate incident' in 2009 by Renault purposely crashing the other car (Nelson Piquet Jr) to allow Fernando Alonso the victory. As a result, team principle Briatore was lifetime banned from Formula 1 but this ban was overturned by a French court in 2010, making him eligible for a F1 return at any point. Singapore is notoriously one of the hottest races on the entire calendar and this weekend has been deemed as a hazard for heat, over 30 degrees so the drivers are allowed to wear a cooling vest during the race. The track is 4.927km long and has 19 corners, a drop from 22 in 2023, when they removed the tricky section in sector 3. The race has 62 laps and the fastest race lap time coming from that emotional sendoff for Daniel Riccardo in 2024, setting a 134.486 on his last ever lap in a Formula 1 car. Although, Singapore has been a struggle for Redbull in the past like 2023 for e...

Christian Horner update on new role in Formula 1

Image
Sky Sports F1 have received word from Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu has been contacted by former Redbull team principle Christian Horner about a potential role in the organisation. Christian Horner had a 2 decade stint with the Milton Keynes based outfit and was sacked earlier this season and has been recently relieved from the entire organisation, Redbull spending a lot of money to release him. Since then, Horner has been sat, patiently on the side lines waiting for the right opportunity to strike for a good job role. Haas are a team on the opposite end of the spectrum to Redbull in terms of the size of the organisation, the cars competitiveness, business and team objectives etc. Perhaps Horner is looking for a smaller role in Formula 1 at the moment to build his way back up. Komatsu insists that exploratory talks failed to progress and are now 'finished'. However, Horner never stops till he gets what he wants so its more than likely we will see the fierce fighter back in t...
